Role Summary
We are seeking a professional Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the voco family at voco Muscat Al Mouj. This role is responsible for overseeing daily F&B operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency in a luxury hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Food & Beverage team, including service staff, bartenders, and kitchen support, to deliver a seamless dining experience.
- Monitor and uphold quality control across all F&B outlets, ensuring compliance with brand standards and health & safety regulations.
- Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to maximize profitability while minimizing waste.
- Train, coach, and motivate team members to enhance service performance and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly, maintaining a positive and professional relationship.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to support events, banquets, and special promotions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor, F&B Supervisor, or similar supervisory role in a hotel or upscale restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, wine pairing, and hospitality management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure during peak hours.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality or hotel management is preferred.
