About the Role
Kyriad Prestige City Center Tunis is hiring a Maintenance Manager (Responsable Maintenance) to oversee and manage all maintenance operations within the hotel. This is a key leadership role ensuring the safety, functionality, and upkeep of all hotel facilities, equipment, and technical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all preventive and corrective maintenance activities across the hotel property.
- Manage and maintain HVAC systems, electrical installations, plumbing, refrigeration, and climate control equipment.
- Lead and coordinate the maintenance team, ensuring efficient task allocation and timely completion of work orders.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and standard operating procedures to minimize downtime and ensure guest comfort.
- Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, including procurement of spare parts, tools, and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized repairs and installations.
- Conduct regular inspections of all hotel facilities to identify maintenance needs and potential risks.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, equipment inventories, and service reports.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to support smooth daily operations and special events.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum diploma: BTS (Brevet de Technicien Supérieur) in Maintenance, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven professional experience in maintenance management, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a technical team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Good communication skills in French; knowledge of Arabic and/or English is an advantage.
- Familiarity with health and safety standards applicable to hotel environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications in facility management or hotel engineering.
- Experience working in a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment.
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Knowledge of energy management and sustainability practices in hospitality.
