This role focuses on delivering exceptional coffee and beverage experiences while maintaining high standards of service and equipment care. As a coffee specialist, you will be at the heart of daily operations, crafting signature drinks and advising customers on flavor profiles.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages, teas, and signature drinks with precision and consistency.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other brewing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Advise customers on coffee varieties, brewing methods, and flavor combinations to enhance their experience.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, syrups, and supplies, rotating stock to maintain freshness.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace, including sanitizing equipment and utensils after each use.
- Take customer orders accurately and handle payments with professionalism.
- Assist with opening or closing procedures, including setting up and breaking down the coffee station.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or coffee specialist in a fast-paced café or restaurant setting.
- In-depth knowledge of coffee bean origins, roasting levels, and extraction techniques.
- Skill in latte art and presentation of specialty beverages.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills in French and/or English.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
