About the Role

Orchid Medical Center, a premier healthcare facility located in the heart of Salmiya, Kuwait, is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Consultant Dermatologist to join our growing team of specialists. This is a full-time clinical position offering the opportunity to practice in a modern, well-equipped medical center serving a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive dermatological care, including medical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology services, while adhering to the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.

Core Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide spectrum of dermatological conditions affecting skin, hair, and nails for patients of all ages.
• Perform dermatological surgical procedures, including excisions, biopsies, cryotherapy, and electrosurgery.
• Provide advanced aesthetic and cosmetic dermatology treatments such as injectables (Botox, fillers), laser therapies, chemical peels, and skin rejuvenation procedures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and ensure continuity of care through regular follow-ups.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including plastic surgeons, oncologists, and primary care physicians for complex case management.
• Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with Kuwait Ministry of Health regulations.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education (CME) activities.
• Educate patients on preventive skincare, sun protection, and long-term disease management.

Required Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized university.
• Board Certification or Specialty Certificate in Dermatology (Arab Board, UK CCT, US Board, or equivalent).
• Valid Kuwait Ministry of Health (MOH) license to practice as a Specialist/Consultant Dermatologist, or eligibility for immediate licensure.
• Minimum 3-5 years of post-certification clinical experience in a hospital or reputable medical center setting.
• Proven proficiency in both medical and aesthetic dermatology procedures.
• Strong command of English; Arabic language proficiency is a significant advantage for patient communication.

Preferred Skills

• Fellowship training in Dermatologic Surgery, Pediatric Dermatology, or Cosmetic Dermatology.
• Experience with advanced laser platforms (CO2, Nd:YAG, IPL, Picosecond) and energy-based devices.
• Track record of clinical research, publications, or presentations at international dermatology conferences.
• Previous work experience in the GCC region, specifically Kuwait.
• Expertise in managing complex autoimmune and inflammatory skin disorders.
