Role Summary
We are seeking an Expert Financial Controller to join our finance team in Tunis. This role is responsible for overseeing all financial controlling activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with corporate policies and international accounting standards. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in financial analysis, cost control, and strategic planning to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the financial controlling function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports, management accounts, and performance dashboards to senior leadership
- Monitor and analyze cost structures, profitability, and cash flow to identify risks and opportunities
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, local accounting standards, and internal control frameworks
- Drive the annual budgeting process and periodic re-forecasting cycles across business units
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning and investment decisions
- Implement and optimize financial systems, processes, and reporting tools to improve efficiency and data accuracy
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is highly preferred
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in financial controlling, management accounting, or a similar finance role
- Proven experience working within a multinational corporation or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local Tunisian accounting regulations
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
Required Skills
- Expert-level proficiency in financial analysis, cost controlling, and budget management
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken); proficiency in French and/or German is a strong advantage
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
