About the Role

S3P DISTRIBUTION is hiring an Aide Comptable (Accounting Assistant) to join its team in Tunis. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a foundational understanding of accounting practices and a strong desire to grow within a dynamic distribution company. You will support the finance and accounting department in daily operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial processes.

Core Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and processing of financial documents, including invoices, receipts, and payment records.
• Support the accounting team with data entry, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
• Organize and archive accounting files and records in compliance with company policies.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding balances.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and summaries for internal review.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform any additional administrative or accounting-related tasks as assigned by the finance manager.

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience in accounting or a first professional experience in a similar role is required.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Proficiency in standard office software (Excel, Word) and familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong sense of listening and teamwork.
• Professional presentation and a polished, business-appropriate demeanor.
• High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.
