Job Overview

Egis, an international player in architecture, consulting, construction engineering, and mobility services, is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. In this role, you will support the Resident Engineer in overseeing construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to design specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring daily construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed progress reports.
• Review and verify contractor submittals, including shop drawings and material approvals.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
• Support the Resident Engineer in managing project schedules, budgets, and resources.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction engineering, preferably in infrastructure or building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
