Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Engineer for a well-established Kuwait-based organization operating within the building materials sector for several decades. The company specializes in the manufacturing and supply of drywall systems and ceiling solutions. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of projects from conception to completion, coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and clients to meet project specifications, timelines, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage drywall system and ceiling solution projects from planning through handover, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration of building materials into construction projects.
• Prepare and review project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and enforce safety regulations.
• Prepare and present project reports to senior management, highlighting milestones, risks, and mitigations.
• Provide technical guidance to the project team on installation methods, material selection, and quality control.
• Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Hard Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the building materials or construction industry, preferably with exposure to drywall or ceiling systems.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, cost estimation, and contracts administration.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Familiarity with Kuwait construction regulations and safety standards is an advantage.
