Role Summary
A leading private pharmaceutical company is seeking a dedicated Medical Visitor to promote and support its Diabetes product portfolio. This position involves engaging with healthcare professionals to drive product awareness, provide scientific information, and achieve sales targets within the assigned territory. The role requires a strong medical background combined with commercial acumen to effectively communicate the clinical benefits of diabetes treatments.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit physicians, endocrinologists, diabetologists, and pharmacists to present and promote the diabetes product range
- Deliver accurate, up-to-date scientific and clinical information on assigned products
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare decision-makers
- Organize and participate in medical conferences, workshops, and promotional events
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends within the diabetology segment
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
- Submit regular activity reports, call plans, and market feedback to management
- Ensure full compliance with pharmaceutical marketing regulations and ethical guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent medical degree
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) accepted
- Valid license to practice in Algeria
- Strong understanding of diabetes pathophysiology, treatment guidelines, and patient management
- Previous experience as a Medical Representative, Medical Visitor, or Pharmaceutical Sales Representative preferred
- Proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in chronic disease areas
