Principal Logistic Specialist – Worley

In this critical role, you will oversee and optimize end-to-end logistics operations for large-scale projects, ensuring seamless supply chain management, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic logistics plans aligned with project objectives and company policies.
• Manage procurement, transportation, warehousing, and inventory control for complex energy and industrial projects.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to streamline material flow and reduce lead times.
• Monitor logistics performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
• Lead logistics risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
• Supervise logistics staff and provide training on best practices and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive logistics management experience in the energy, chemicals, or resources sector, with at least 5 years in a principal or senior leadership role.
• Skills: Expert knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Certifications: Professional certifications such as CSCP, CLTD, or CPIM are highly desirable.
• Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
