Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dematology Specialist to diagnose and manage a comprehensive range of skin, hair, and nail disorders. This role is ideal for a medical professional with expertise in clinical dermatology and minor surgical procedures, committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat various dermatologic conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, skin infections, and hair or nail disorders.
- Perform dermatological procedures such as skin biopsies, cryotherapy, electrocautery, and other minor excisions and interventions.
- Conduct thorough patient consultations, medical history reviews, and skin examinations to determine accurate diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including topical therapies, systemic medications, and procedural care.
- Educate patients on skin health, preventive care, and post-treatment management.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with a specialization in dermatology.
- Valid medical license to practice dermatology in Oman.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and managing a wide spectrum of skin, hair, and nail disorders.
- Proficiency in performing dermatological procedures including biopsies, cryotherapy, and electrocautery.
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with empathy and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- Board certification in dermatology or equivalent.
- Experience with cosmetic dermatology procedures (e.g., laser therapy, chemical peels).
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Research or publication experience in dermatology.
