Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Group Financial Director to lead financial operations across a large medical group in Egypt. This senior leadership role reports directly to the Board Member, VP & Group CFO and carries full accountability for financial strategy, regulatory compliance, and performance optimization across all subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will drive financial excellence in a complex healthcare environment, ensuring sustainable growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial activities across company subsidiaries within the medical group
- Develop and execute group financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives and healthcare industry dynamics
- Ensure full regulatory compliance with Egyptian financial regulations, healthcare sector requirements, and international accounting standards
- Lead consolidated financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, banking partners, and regulatory bodies
- Drive cost optimization and revenue cycle management across clinical and non-clinical operations
- Provide strategic financial insights to the Board and C-suite for investment decisions and expansion initiatives
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance leadership team across multiple entities
- Implement robust internal controls, risk management frameworks, and governance policies
- Spearhead digital transformation of finance functions including ERP optimization and automation
Qualifications
- CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification
- Minimum 15+ years progressive finance experience, with at least 7+ years in senior leadership roles
- Proven track record as Financial Director, VP Finance, or Group Controller in a multi-entity organization
- Deep expertise in healthcare finance, hospital revenue cycle, or medical group economics strongly preferred
- Advanced knowledge of IFRS, Egyptian Accounting Standards, and tax regulations
- Demonstrated experience in mergers & acquisitions, restructuring, or large-scale transformation projects
- Fluent in Arabic and English (written and verbal)
