Role Summary
We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer specializing in finishing works to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in construction finishing projects and must be available to join immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute civil finishing works on construction projects in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards and compliance with engineering codes and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and project managers to ensure timely project delivery.
- Monitor material usage and ensure proper application of finishing materials including plastering, tiling, painting, and flooring.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Resolve on-site technical issues and provide engineering solutions to construction challenges.
- Ensure all finishing activities meet quality assurance standards and client expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of proven experience in civil finishing works within the construction industry.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Jeddah.
- Must be ready to join immediately — no notice period required.
- Familiarity with modern finishing techniques, materials, and construction standards in Saudi Arabia.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and finishing construction methods.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings.
- Experience with project management tools and AutoCAD or similar software.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective on-site coordination.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
