Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Chef De Partie to join the culinary team at Six Senses Zighy Bay, a luxury resort in the Musandam Peninsula, Oman. As a Chef De Partie, you will manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of your designated kitchen station, including preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes.
• Maintain strict adherence to fine dining standards and Six Senses quality guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to develop and refine seasonal menus.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and rotated to minimize waste.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Uphold rigorous hygiene and safety protocols in line with HACCP regulations.
• Contribute to a positive, creative, and efficient kitchen environment.

Requirements

Hard Skills:

• Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role in a fine dining restaurant or luxury hotel kitchen.
• In-depth knowledge of classical and modern cooking techniques.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen management.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-end culinary environment.
• Relevant culinary degree or diploma preferred.
