About the Role
Join a dynamic and busy Swimming Academy in Kuwait as a Senior Swim Coach. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced swimming professional to lead training programs, mentor junior coaches, and elevate the performance of swimmers across all levels. Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver structured swim training programs for beginners, intermediate, and advanced swimmers.
- Lead and supervise a team of junior swim coaches, providing mentorship and performance feedback.
- Monitor swimmer progress and adjust training plans to meet individual and team goals.
- Ensure all safety protocols and water safety standards are strictly followed during every session.
- Organize and oversee swim meets, competitions, and academy events.
- Maintain swim equipment and ensure the pool environment meets health and safety regulations.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding swimmer development and performance.
- Stay updated on the latest swimming techniques, coaching methodologies, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a swim coach, preferably in a senior or lead coaching capacity.
- Recognized swimming coaching certifications (e.g., ASCA, equivalent national or international credentials).
- Strong knowledge of stroke techniques, endurance training, and competitive swimming strategies.
- Proven ability to coach swimmers of varying ages and skill levels, from children to adults.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Current CPR, First Aid, and Water Safety certifications are highly preferred.
- Passion for swimming and a commitment to athlete development and safety.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume swim academy or competitive swimming environment.
- Bilingual abilities (English and Arabic) are an advantage.
- Familiarity with swim assessment tools and performance tracking systems.
- Ability to motivate and inspire swimmers to achieve their personal best.
