About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Qatar. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing detailed quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and cost estimates for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects across Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review detailed quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and cost estimates for construction and infrastructure projects in Qatar.
- Manage project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and report on project expenditure, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and contractual commitments.
- Prepare and review tender documents, contract proposals, and procurement schedules.
- Conduct risk assessments and value engineering analyses to optimize project costs.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost reporting.
- Oversee the preparation of interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts.
- Ensure compliance with local Qatar regulations, industry standards, and contractual requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in quantity surveying within construction and infrastructure projects.
- Strong proficiency in cost estimation software and quantity takeoff tools.
- In-depth knowledge of contract administration, FIDIC conditions, and standard forms of construction contracts.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and financial management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
