Chiller HVAC Technician – Doha, Qatar

We are seeking a skilled Chiller HVAC Technician to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of chiller systems and associated HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance across commercial and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair chiller units and related HVAC systems including air handling units, cooling towers, and associated piping.


• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on chiller equipment to ensure peak efficiency and minimize downtime.


• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and system controls.


• Monitor refrigerant levels, pressure readings, and temperature controls; recharge and recover refrigerants as needed.


• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.


• Collaborate with facility managers and engineering teams to plan maintenance schedules and system upgrades.


• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.


• Ensure all work adheres to health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.


• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and provide effective solutions under time constraints.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in chiller HVAC maintenance and repair.


• Strong understanding of chiller systems (screw, centrifugal, scroll, and reciprocating types).


• Proficiency in HVAC electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.


• Good English communication skills – both verbal and written.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team in a fast-paced environment.


• Valid HVAC or refrigeration certification is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BMS (Building Management Systems) and HVAC automation controls.


• Familiarity with local and international HVAC standards and codes.


• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when required.


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
