Role Overview

A pediatric nurse position is available at the first French Ministry of Education homologated school in Morocco for the 2026-2027 academic year. This school nurse role focuses on student health management, preventive care, and medical emergency response within a French curriculum international school environment in Casablanca. The position requires a qualified infirmier puériculteur with expertise in child health, developmental monitoring, and school-based healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily student health assessments, first aid, and emergency medical care
• Manage chronic health conditions including allergies, asthma, diabetes, and epilepsy
• Conduct health screenings for vision, hearing, growth, and developmental milestones
• Maintain accurate medical records and confidentiality compliance with French and Moroccan regulations
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor treatment plans
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans (PAI - Projet d'Accueil Individualisé)
• Coordinate with parents, teachers, and external healthcare providers
• Lead health education programs on hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention
• Ensure school infirmary compliance with hygiene and safety standards
• Participate in school safety committees and emergency preparedness drills

Requirements

Hard Skills & Qualifications

• State Diploma in Pediatric Nursing (Diplôme d'État de Puériculteur) or equivalent recognized qualification
• Valid nursing license to practice in Morocco or eligibility for recognition
• Minimum 3 years experience in pediatric nursing, school health, or neonatal/pediatric units
• Proficiency in French medical terminology and documentation
• Knowledge of French educational system health protocols (PAI, PAP, PPS)
• Certification in pediatric first aid and BLS/CPR
• Experience with electronic health records and school management software
