Accountant
ALNOOR PROJECTS AND TECHNICAL SERVICES SPC is looking for a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our growing team in the Sultanate of Oman.
Job Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in the Accounts & Finance Department.
Must be capable of independently handling the entire Accounts Department.
Strong knowledge of A to Z accounting functions in an Oman-based business environment.
Sound knowledge of:
General Accounting
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Bank Reconciliation
VAT Compliance & Tax Documentation
Payroll Processing
Financial Reporting
Budgeting & Cost Control
Inventory Accounting
Finalization of Accounts
Audit Preparation
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Good communication skills in English. Arabic knowledge will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete accounting operations independently.
Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly financial statements.
Handle invoicing, receivables, payables, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with Oman VAT regulations and company policies.
Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, customers, and management.
Prepare management reports and support financial planning.
Preferred Candidate
Responsible, honest, and self-motivated.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Experience in the technical, contracting, or project-based industry will be an added advantage.
