About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Valet to join our housekeeping team in Bahrain. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient operation and monitoring of washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, ensuring all linens and guest garments are handled with the highest standards of care. This position is critical to maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guests, and it requires attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery according to manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
• Add appropriate chemicals and detergents to machines, following proper dosing and handling procedures.
• Clean lint traps and perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Sort, fold, and prepare linens and guest laundry for delivery or storage.
• Inspect all items for stains, damage, or missing items and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and report low stock levels.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk teams to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of guest laundry.

Requirements

• Previous experience in laundry, housekeeping, or a similar role within a hotel or commercial setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of different fabric types and appropriate washing/drying techniques.
• Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads (up to 25 kg).
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
