Role Overview

We are seeking experienced E&I QC Inspectors for Oil & Gas EPC projects based in Oman. This is a high-volume recruitment drive with multiple openings available immediately. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical and instrumentation quality control within the oil and gas sector, particularly on large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. Aramco experience is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspection of electrical and instrumentation installations in accordance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems, instrumentation loops, and control systems.
• Review and approve Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality documentation.
• Identify non-conformances, issue NCRs, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Liaise with project engineers, contractors, and client representatives to maintain quality standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of all quality control activities.
• Ensure all work complies with HSE regulations and project safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field).
• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas EPC Projects.
• Certifications: Relevant QC certifications (e.g., CSWIP, NACE, ASNT) strongly preferred.
• Aramco experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes (IEC, NEC, BS) and instrumentation standards (ISA).
• Proficiency in MS Office and inspection software.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with HV, LV, and instrumentation systems including DCS, PLC, SCADA.
• Familiarity with Ex-rated equipment and hazardous area classification.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills in English.
• Ability to work in a multicultural team environment.
