Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Demi Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. In this role, you will assist the Chef de Partie in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and ensuring a seamless dining experience. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters to ensure proper cooking.
• Assist in the supervision of commis chefs and kitchen assistants.
• Ensure all food preparation meets hygiene and safety regulations.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.
• Support the Chef de Partie in menu planning and special requests.

Qualifications

Required:

• Proven experience as a Demi Chef or similar role in a reputable kitchen.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for culinary excellence.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

• Culinary school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in banquet or fine dining operations.
• Familiarity with food safety standards (HACCP).
