This role is responsible for driving revenue by identifying new business prospects, delivering detailed technical presentations, and tailoring product specifications to client requirements. The successful candidate manages the entire sales cycle-from initial consultation and bidding to post-sales support.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development: Identify new market opportunities, generate leads, and build a robust pipeline to meet sales targets.
Technical Presentations: Deliver expert product demonstrations and technical presentations to client engineering teams.
Proposal Management: Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, cost estimations, and formal tender responses.
Solution Engineering: Collaborate with internal manufacturing and R&D teams to customize products for specific client applications.
Account Management: Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or a relevant technical discipline).
Experience: minimum 2 years of proven experience in technical sales in oil and gas industry.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and complex technical specifications.
Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, active listening, and relationship-building skills.
Travel: Ability to travel frequently to client sites (valid driver's license required)
