What You'll Own

• Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of the Early Warning System (EWS) Pilot across target schools in the Tindouf province
• Strengthen school management frameworks by identifying dropout risk indicators and building actionable response protocols
• Coordinate with the UNICEF Education Section and local education authorities to align the pilot with national education priorities
• Develop training modules and capacity-building programs for school administrators and teachers on EWS tools and data-driven decision-making
• Produce high-quality technical reports, policy briefs, and progress documentation to inform scale-up decisions
• Establish data collection methodologies and reporting mechanisms that are both rigorous and field-practical
• Provide strategic guidance on how the EWS model can be integrated into Algeria's broader education monitoring infrastructure

What You Bring

• Advanced degree in Education, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or a closely related field
• Proven professional experience in education program management, school administration, or education systems strengthening in Algeria
• Demonstrated expertise in Early Warning Systems, dropout prevention strategies, or education data management
• Strong understanding of the Algerian education system, including its administrative structures and challenges specific to the Tindouf region
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate field data into actionable program recommendations
• Fluency in Arabic and French (written and spoken); working knowledge of English is an asset
• Ability to work independently in a remote, office-based setting with minimal supervision over the full 9-month consultancy period
