About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Manifest Process Administrator to join our team in Algiers, Algeria. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy of shipping manifests and related documentation, serving as a vital link in our global supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, verify, and manage shipping manifests with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate documentation
- Maintain and update manifest records in accordance with company procedures and international shipping regulations
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in manifest data promptly and efficiently
- Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, import/export documentation standards, and Maersk's internal policies
- Collaborate with freight forwarding, warehousing, and transportation teams to streamline manifest processing workflows
- Generate regular reports on manifest status, processing times, and exception tracking
- Support audits by providing accurate documentation and process records
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics documentation process
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain administration, or a related documentation role
- Strong knowledge of shipping manifests, bill of lading, and international trade documentation
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of data accurately
- Proficiency in computer systems and logistics software applications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic and/or French is an asset
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with Maersk or other major global logistics providers
- Familiarity with customs clearance procedures and import/export regulations in Algeria
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and digital freight platforms
- Understanding of dangerous goods regulations and special cargo handling requirements
- Professional certification in supply chain management or logistics (e.g., CSCP, CITT) is a plus
