Mechanic required for Drilling Rig وظف دوت كوم

        A Rig Mechanic must have extensive knowledge
of the drilling rig equipment, parts and components. Must have
experience with hydraulic motors and rig engines.

        Collaborate with the Maintenance
Supervisor to plan and implement daily activities keeping their
area of concern, in order to keep the Drilling Equipment
operating conditions.
        Participate in the
implementation of preventive maintenance inspections and
corrective actions in time and within
budget.
        Planning material requirements
and help the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain an adequate stock
of parts and components.
        Execute their
duties in compliance with the procedures, programs and standards
established by the departments of Maintenance and
HS&E.
        Report any defects or hazards
that may affect the safety of themselves, their coworkers and
affect the integrity of the drilling
equipment.
        Identify risks and prevent
accidents, to achieve the goals of the company in terms of safety
& security.
        Responsible for keeping
their tools and personal safety elements in good condition. Like
workspaces, they must keep it clean and
tidy.
        Check the correct disposal of waste
that repairs could result.
        Collaborate
with other members of Maintenance when available and so requested
by the Supervisor.
Minimum
Education:
•        Technician
Education
•        It is essential to have
knowledge of commonly used: concepts, practices and
procedures.
•        Have knowledge of health,
safety and environmental requirements associated with drilling
operations.
•        Experience in diesel engines
is strongly preferred.
•        Previous
experience in the following fields will be valued: electric,
hydraulic, and pneumatic. Rigs tools and
draw-works.
•        Knowledge in automatic
transmission, reducers and gears box.

•        Fluent in English
