About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Geriatric Specialist or Consultant to join our medical team in Kuwait. In this advanced clinical role, you will deliver expert care focused on the health needs of older adults, managing complex age-related conditions and contributing to improved quality of life for geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized medical consultations and comprehensive assessments for elderly patients.
• Develop and manage individualized care plans addressing chronic diseases, polypharmacy, and age-related syndromes.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including physiotherapists, dietitians, and social workers to deliver holistic geriatric care.
• Conduct regular patient evaluations, functional assessments, and cognitive screenings.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, preventive care, and healthy aging strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Stay current with advancements in geriatric medicine and participate in continuous medical education activities.

Requirements

• 7–9 years of post-specialization experience in geriatric medicine or a closely related field.
• Board certification or equivalent qualification in Geriatric Medicine or Internal Medicine with a geriatric focus.
• Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills tailored to the elderly population.
• Proficiency in Arabic is preferred; effective communication with patients and their families is essential.
