Open Positions
- Executive Chef: Lead and manage all kitchen operations, menu development, inventory control, and team leadership. Requires extensive experience in high-end restaurant or hotel kitchens.
- Butcher Chef: Specialist in meat cutting, portion control, and butchery techniques. Responsible for all meat preparation, stock management, and quality assurance.
- Senior Chef de Partie – Hot Kitchen: Oversee the hot kitchen section, supervise junior chefs, ensure consistency in food quality, and maintain hygiene standards.
- Chef de Partie – Hot Kitchen: Run a specific station within the hot kitchen, preparing dishes to specification and assisting in training commis chefs.
- Demi Chef de Partie – Hot Kitchen: Support the Chef de Partie in daily operations, focusing on mise en place, cooking, plating, and station cleanliness.
- Commis Chef: Entry-level chef role assisting in food preparation, learning station operations, and maintaining kitchen hygiene.
- Kitchen Trainee: Hands-on training position for individuals eager to start a career in professional cooking. Learn basic culinary skills and kitchen protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or catering environment.
- Culinary Knowledge: Strong understanding of food safety standards (HACCP), kitchen equipment, and cooking techniques.
- Teamwork: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in following recipes, portioning, and plating.
- Time Management: Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure.
- Communication: Clear verbal communication skills in English and/or Arabic.
- Education: Culinary degree or diploma preferred but not mandatory for experienced candidates.
Key Responsibilities (General)
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all food is stored, handled, and prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and storage areas.
- Assist in inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering supplies.
- Contribute to menu innovation and special event preparations.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.
