We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to oversee and optimize our production facility operations in Had Soualem, Morocco.
Role Overview
The Responsable Maintenance will be responsible for leading the maintenance department within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role requires a hands-on leader capable of managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, supervising technical teams, and ensuring maximum uptime of biscuit production lines and industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all production machinery and facility infrastructure
- Manage and coordinate the maintenance team, including scheduling, task delegation, and performance evaluation
- Oversee corrective maintenance interventions to minimize production downtime and ensure rapid resolution of equipment failures
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards specific to the food processing and biscuit manufacturing industry
- Manage the maintenance budget, spare parts inventory, and procurement of technical supplies
- Collaborate with the production department to plan maintenance activities around production schedules
- Monitor and improve equipment reliability and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) across all production lines
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and lean maintenance practices to optimize operational efficiency
- Maintain detailed maintenance records, technical documentation, and equipment history files
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance and equipment upgrades
- Ensure proper functioning of industrial utilities including electrical systems, compressed air, water treatment, and HVAC systems
Requirements
Hard Skills
- Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Proven experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing or food production environment
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, automated production lines, and PLC systems
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
- Understanding of food safety standards and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
