About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) Executive to join the engineering team of a leading hotel group in Kuwait. This role is critical to ensuring the seamless operation of all mechanical and electrical systems, maintaining high standards of guest comfort and safety. As M&E Executive, you will oversee maintenance schedules, troubleshoot complex issues, and lead a team of technicians to deliver exceptional facility performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and elevator systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and reduce repair costs.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and ensure rapid restoration of services.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring cost-effective procurement.
• Conduct regular inspections of all mechanical and electrical installations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel standards.
• Lead and train a team of technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and budget forecasts for the engineering department.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and installations.
• Ensure energy efficiency initiatives are implemented and tracked.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in M&E maintenance, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of building management systems, HVAC, chillers, boilers, and electrical distribution.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Leadership skills with experience managing a multi-cultural team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Valid Kuwait driving license preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Certification in facility management or energy management.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of local safety codes and regulations in Kuwait.
