Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Pedodontist to join our dental team. The Consultant will be responsible for delivering specialized pediatric dental care, ensuring the highest standards of treatment and patient safety. This role requires expertise in diagnosing and managing dental conditions in children, from infancy through adolescence.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat dental issues in pediatric patients, including caries, malocclusions, and developmental anomalies.
• Perform preventive and restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, pulp therapy, and extractions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.
• Provide guidance on oral hygiene, diet, and preventive care to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with other dental specialists and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with clinic policies and regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry through continuous education and training.

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Dentistry.
• Valid license to practice dentistry in Kuwait.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in pediatric dentistry, with at least 2 years as a consultant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children and their parents.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with sedation and anesthesia techniques for pediatric patients.
• Familiarity with hospital-based dental care and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Research experience or publications in pediatric dentistry.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is an advantage.
