• Proactively promote the sale of Emerson products & services, ensuring consistency with PlantWeb concepts & applications.
• Respond to sales enquiries from the field received by telephone, fax or e-mail. Qualify all enquiries to ensure that we offer best
solutions to customers, maintain delegation of authority, ensure export compliance and maximize opportunities for all divisions.
• Provide technical and commercial support to the sales channel. Keep divisional quote log of all quotes coordinated through the regional office.
• Provide technical and commercial screening, rectifying non-compliance of select orders placed by Customer prior to placement of the PO on factories. Keep records of all orders in the region.
• Coordinate field service support issues between the factory and the client.
• Collect and communicate information regarding division-specific target applications, as identified in the Strategic Plan.
• Provide communication on successes in the region and feedback on product needs.
• Keep literature, price lists and sales tools and competitive information up to date and communicated to the region, and provide coordination of these materials.
• Participate actively in all scheduled team meetings to provide feedback on any and all issues that arise during the course of normal work as outlined in this job description.
• Adhere to local and international Emerson trade compliance procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices
• Make technical and commercial quotes to customers
• Log all quotes and orders
• Communicate with customers for quote/order status and provide report
Bachelor degree in instrumentation and control engineering
Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
Must be prepared for extensive travel.
