Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and courteous Waiter/Waitress to join our Food and Beverage team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences by serving food and alcoholic beverages, setting tables according to event type and service standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus in a timely manner
• Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar
• Serve courses and beverages following established service sequences
• Set tables according to the type of event, including fine dining, buffet, or private functions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout service
• Assist with side work such as polishing silverware, folding napkins, and restocking supplies
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Process payments accurately using POS systems

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar customer service role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and presentation skills
• Knowledge of food and beverage menu items, including wine and cocktail pairings
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Basic math skills for handling bills and change

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or banquet setting is highly preferred. Certification in food safety or alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is a plus.
