Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our operations team in Bahrain. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery to ensure all linens, garments, and textiles meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor washing machines, dry cleaning equipment, and drying machinery in accordance with established procedures.
• Add appropriate cleaning chemicals and detergents to machines, ensuring correct measurements and safe handling.
• Regularly clean lint traps and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Inspect all items for stains, damage, or wear and determine whether items require repair, replacement, or specialized treatment.
• Sort, fold, and organize cleaned items according to department or client specifications.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry work environment at all times.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to chemical handling and machine operation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in laundry operations, housekeeping, or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of washing and dry cleaning machinery operation and maintenance.
• Ability to identify different fabric types and apply appropriate cleaning methods.
• Attention to detail with the ability to spot stains, tears, and other textile damage.
• Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks, lift heavy laundry loads, and stand for extended periods.
• Understanding of chemical handling safety and proper usage of cleaning agents.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high quality standards.
