About the Role

Join Yazaki, a global leader in automotive electrical distribution systems, as a Maintenance Technician L2 at our Kenitra Plant 1 in Morocco. This role is critical to ensuring the continuous operation of our EDS manufacturing equipment, minimizing downtime, and supporting production targets. You will be part of a dynamic technical team dedicated to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on automated assembly lines, harness testers, and other production machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify root causes of failures.
• Execute repairs and adjustments to restore equipment functionality with minimal production interruption.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, spare parts inventory, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize machine performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, and promote a safe work environment.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.

Requirements

• Education: Technical diploma or equivalent in electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive or wire harness production.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings; experience with PLCs, sensors, drives, and industrial automation.
• Languages: Working knowledge of French or English is an asset.
• Other: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in shifts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Yazaki-specific equipment or similar EDS manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles.
• Certification in electrical safety or industrial maintenance.
