We are seeking a Maintenance Operations Control Manager to lead maintenance strategy and execution for a leading international organization in Bahrain. This role oversees the planning, coordination, and optimization of all maintenance activities to ensure maximum asset reliability and operational continuity. The position demands a blend of technical expertise in reliability engineering and strong leadership to drive continuous improvement across maintenance operations. You will be the pivotal point connecting engineering, operations, and management to deliver world-class maintenance performance.

- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies including preventive, predictive, and corrective programs aligned with operational goals.
- Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to optimize work order flow, inventory control, and asset history tracking.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for critical equipment failures and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Oversee maintenance budget planning, contractor management, and procurement of spare parts and services.
- Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for MTBF, MTTR, OEE, and maintenance cost per unit.
- Coordinate shutdown/turnaround planning and execution ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Mentor and develop a team of maintenance engineers, planners, and technicians fostering a culture of reliability.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams on capital projects, equipment modifications, and reliability improvements.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years progressive experience in maintenance management within heavy industry, oil & gas, or manufacturing.
- Proven expertise in RCM, TPM, and reliability-centered maintenance methodologies with certified credentials (CMRP, CRE).
- Advanced proficiency in CMMS/EAM systems (Maximo, SAP PM, Infor EAM) and data analytics tools.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million dollar maintenance budgets and capex projects.
- Demonstrated leadership in safety management systems (ISO 45001) and environmental compliance.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a significant advantage for local stakeholder engagement.
