Role Overview
MoneyMore, the consumer fintech application of Mondia Group, is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to join our engineering team in Cairo, Egypt. This role focuses on building and scaling a high-performance mobile application that transforms raw bank transaction messages into a clear, real-time financial picture for users. You will work on core mobile architecture, integrate with banking APIs, and deliver secure, scalable features for a growing fintech product.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain native or cross-platform mobile applications for iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) and Android (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose).
- Architect clean, modular codebases following MVVM, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles.
- Integrate with RESTful and GraphQL APIs for real-time transaction parsing, categorization, and financial insights.
- Implement secure data storage, encryption, and compliance with PCI-DSS and GDPR standards.
- Optimize app performance, reduce latency, and ensure offline-first capabilities for transaction sync.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and UX designers to define technical specifications and delivery timelines.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or Fastlane for automated testing and deployment.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote best practices in mobile development.
- Monitor crash analytics (Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry) and implement proactive error handling.
Requirements
Hard Skills
- 5+ years of professional mobile development experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Expert proficiency in Swift and Kotlin; experience with React Native or Flutter is a plus.
- Deep understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture) and dependency injection (Hilt, Koin, Swinject).
- Strong experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, JSON parsing, and secure networking (SSL pinning, OAuth2, JWT).
- Hands-on experience with local databases (Realm, CoreData, Room, SQLite) and data synchronization strategies.
- Familiarity with fintech domain: banking integrations, transaction categorization, PSD2/Open Banking standards.
- Proven track record of shipping apps to App Store and Google Play, including TestFlight and Play Console management.
- Experience with automated testing: unit tests (JUnit, XCTest), UI tests (Espresso, XCUITest), and snapshot testing.
