About the Job
Worley, a global leader in energy, chemicals, and resources headquartered in Australia, is seeking a QA/QC Engineer (Quality Engineer II) for its operations in Kuwait. This role is integral to ensuring project quality across the lifecycle of our client engagements, covering quality assurance, quality control, and quality engineering functions within a dynamic engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control plans for engineering projects.
- Conduct inspections and audits of materials, equipment, and workmanship to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Review and approve quality documentation, including test plans, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports.
- Coordinate with project teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and report on quality performance metrics, driving continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to industry codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Participate in project reviews and risk assessments to identify quality-related risks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or energy sector.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ASME, API, and other relevant standards.
- Proven experience with quality management systems and auditing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
