Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of KG to lead our Early Years Department. This role is responsible for overseeing the academic and operational management of the kindergarten section, ensuring a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment that fosters holistic development for young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive early years curriculum aligned with international best practices and educational standards.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate KG teachers and support staff to maintain high teaching quality and professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements for early childhood education.
• Collaborate with parents and the wider school community to support student progress and well-being.
• Monitor student assessment data to drive instructional improvements and individualized learning plans.
• Manage departmental budgets, resources, and schedules efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in EDUCATION for KG or Early Years from a recognized university (UK preferred).
• Teaching License from one of the following countries: UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa.
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in early years settings, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of early childhood development theories, play-based learning, and differentiated instruction.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.

Desired Skills

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Familiarity with the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Experience in curriculum design and assessment for early years.
• Ability to foster an inclusive and culturally responsive classroom environment.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and data management systems.
