Job Overview

Egis, an international player active in architecture, consulting, construction engineering and mobility services, is seeking a skilled Design Audit Engineer to join their team in Kuwait. In this role, you will ensure that design outputs meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications across a range of infrastructure and building projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough audits of architectural, structural, and MEP design documents to verify compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Review design calculations, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify design discrepancies, non-conformities, and potential risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design teams, project managers, and quality assurance personnel to resolve audit findings.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and best practices in design and construction.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in design engineering, with at least 2 years in design audit or quality assurance.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM software, and design review tools. Strong understanding of local and international building codes (e.g., IBC, NFPA, Kuwait Municipality regulations).
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Certifications: Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent is preferred; Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) is a plus.
