About the Role

talabat, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is seeking a dedicated Receiver to join our logistics and warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient receipt of goods, ensuring that all incoming inventory meets quality standards and is processed promptly to support our fast-paced delivery operations. As a Receiver, you play a critical part in maintaining supply chain integrity and ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time.

Core Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Verify quantities, condition, and quality of received goods, reporting any discrepancies or damages immediately.
• Unload trucks and organize received items in designated storage areas.
• Update inventory management systems with accurate receiving data.
• Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams to ensure seamless stock flow.
• Maintain a clean and safe receiving area in compliance with company safety standards.
• Assist in periodic inventory counts and stock audits.
• Process returns and exchanges of goods as needed.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or receiving role is preferred.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory systems.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with warehouse management software (WMS) or ERP systems.
• Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
• Bilingual (English/Arabic) is a plus.
