Role Overview
Unipal is seeking a passionate and skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Product & Engineering Department. In this full-time, onsite role based in Manama, Bahrain, you will contribute to building and maintaining robust, scalable applications while working across the full software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack web and mobile applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous improvement processes.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across the front-end and back-end.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance product capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Solid experience with back-end development using languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP.
- Experience with database management systems including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms.
- Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Flutter or other cross-platform mobile development frameworks.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools such as Docker.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with testing frameworks and automated testing practices.
- Prior experience working in a product-driven environment or startup setting.
