The Institute for Water and Resources Innovation (IWRI) is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to work on the bioinspired circular conversion of multi-source biomass feedstocks for water-retentive agricultural systems. The role is based in Morocco and focuses on advancing sustainable agricultural technologies through innovative biomass conversion research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on bioinspired circular conversion of multi-source biomass feedstocks
• Develop water-retentive agricultural systems using sustainable biomass technologies
• Design and execute experiments related to biomass conversion processes
• Analyze data and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary research teams

Qualifications:

• PhD in a relevant field such as chemical engineering, environmental science, or agricultural engineering
• Experience in biomass conversion or biorefinery processes
• Strong background in sustainable agriculture or water-retentive systems
• Proficiency in relevant laboratory and analytical techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
