Senior IT Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives within our enterprise environment. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive project delivery from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of large-scale IT projects, including software development, infrastructure deployment, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, issues, and changes; implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, QA, DevOps, business analysts, and vendors.
- Report project status, KPIs, and financials to senior leadership and governance boards.
- Ensure adherence to IT governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Mentor junior project managers and promote continuous improvement in project management practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe) highly preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive IT project management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior/lead role managing enterprise-level projects.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-million dollar IT projects on time and within budget.
- Deep expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) and tools (Jira, MS Project, Azure DevOps, Confluence).
- Strong technical background with understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP), and enterprise architecture.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget forecasting.
