About the Role
The IT Program Delivery Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the end-to-end orchestration of complex IT programs and the strategic oversight of Electronic Shipping Solutions. This position ensures that technology initiatives align with business objectives, are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple IT programs simultaneously, from initiation through closure.
- Define program scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, QA, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery.
- Monitor program progress, track milestones, and report status to executives and stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and governance frameworks.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party deliverables.
- Drive continuous improvement in program delivery processes and tools.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in IT program management or delivery management, preferably in logistics, shipping, or supply chain technology.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, cloud infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and integration technologies.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead large, distributed teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Electronic Shipping Solutions or similar logistics platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, or MS Project.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and integration patterns.
- Experience working in the Middle East or North Africa region.
