Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Web Integrator / E-Commerce Specialist to join our dynamic team in Casablanca. This position plays a pivotal role in translating design concepts into fully functional, responsive, and high-performing web interfaces, with a strong focus on e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design and development, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation, cross-browser compatibility, and optimal user experience across all devices.
Core Responsibilities
- Convert UI/UX designs (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) into clean, semantic, and accessible HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript code.
- Implement and maintain e-commerce front-end templates on platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, or custom solutions.
- Ensure responsive design principles are applied flawlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile viewports.
- Optimize front-end performance through code minification, lazy loading, critical CSS, and efficient asset delivery.
- Collaborate closely with back-end developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to deliver seamless shopping experiences.
- Conduct thorough cross-browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and device testing to guarantee consistency.
- Integrate third-party services: payment gateways, shipping APIs, analytics, marketing pixels, and CRM connectors.
- Maintain and evolve a reusable component library and design system for rapid, consistent development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end bugs, layout issues, and performance bottlenecks in production environments.
- Stay current with emerging front-end technologies, e-commerce trends, and web standards (WCAG, Core Web Vitals).
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree (Bac+3 minimum) in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
- Experience: Proven professional experience as a Web Integrator, Front-End Developer, or E-Commerce Front-End Specialist.
- Expert proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid, Animations), and vanilla JavaScript (ES6+).
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one major e-commerce platform (Shopify Liquid, Magento PHTML, WooCommerce PHP templates, PrestaShop Smarty).
- Deep understanding of responsive/mobile-first development and progressive enhancement.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Gulp, npm/yarn).
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (Sass/SCSS, Less, PostCSS) and methodologies (BEM, SMACSS, ITCSS).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and semantic markup.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, Alpine.js, Stimulus) in headless e-commerce architectures.
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or utility-first CSS approaches.
- Understanding of back-end templating languages (PHP, Twig, Liquid) for deeper platform customization.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (Cypress, Playwright, Jest).
- Knowledge of Core Web Vitals optimization (LCP, FID, CLS) and Lighthouse auditing.
- Multilingual: French and English fluency; Arabic is a strong plus.
