Sorel, a prestigious brand renowned for its excellence in textile manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Chef d'Atelier Couture (Workshop Manager) to lead its production workshop and oversee a team of skilled artisans. This role is critical to maintaining the highest standards of quality and precision in high-end garment creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Management: Plan, coordinate, and supervise all stages of couture garment production from cutting to final assembly.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of seamstresses, tailors, and pattern makers to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality checks to maintain Sorel's reputation for flawless craftsmanship.
• Process Optimization: Continuously improve workshop workflows to increase productivity without compromising quality.
• Inventory & Material Management: Monitor fabric and supply usage, coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability.
• Training & Development: Train staff on new techniques and ensure adherence to safety and production standards.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Chef d'Atelier or senior tailor in a high-end fashion house or textile production environment.
• Expert knowledge of couture sewing techniques, pattern making, and garment construction.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in French (English is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with luxury brands or haute couture.
• Familiarity with industrial sewing machinery and quality control systems.
• Degree in fashion design or textile engineering.
