You don't just review calculations — you set the technical direction for multi-disciplinary teams across Conceptual Studies, FEED, and detailed design phases. Your decisions shape skylines and infrastructure that endure. You thrive where ambiguity meets rigor, and you lead with a blend of deep technical mastery and sharp commercial awareness.

What You'll Own

• Lead all structural engineering deliverables from concept through FEED to detailed design for major projects in Qatar
• Define structural design criteria, methodologies, and standards alignment (QCS, Eurocode, ACI, AISC) across project phases
• Direct a team of structural engineers and CAD technicians; review and approve calculations, models, and drawings
• Coordinate with Architecture, MEP, Civil, and Project Controls to resolve interfaces and optimize constructability
• Drive value engineering initiatives without compromising safety, durability, or regulatory compliance
• Manage design reviews, HAZOPs, and third-party verification processes
• Ensure timely delivery of design packages for procurement, construction, and handover

What You Bring

• Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering; Master's preferred; Chartered/PE status strongly preferred
• 15+ years structural design experience, with 5+ years in a Lead role on large-scale infrastructure, commercial, or industrial projects in the Gulf region
• Proven track record on FEED and detailed design phases for projects >$100M CAPEX
• Expert proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, RAM, and BIM workflows (Revit, Navisworks)
• Deep knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), Qatari Fire Department, and Ministry of Municipality requirements
• Experience leading multi-national design teams and managing sub-consultant scopes
• Fluent English; Arabic a distinct advantage
