We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Legal Researcher to join a prestigious law firm in Kuwait. This role is critical to supporting our legal team in delivering comprehensive and well-researched legal solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research on Kuwaiti laws, regulations, and judicial precedents to support ongoing cases and transactions.
- Analyze legal documents, statutes, and court rulings to provide accurate and timely summaries for attorneys.
- Prepare legal memoranda, briefs, and reports outlining findings and recommendations.
- Monitor changes in local legislation and regulatory developments to keep the firm informed.
- Assist in drafting legal documents, contracts, and agreements under the supervision of senior lawyers.
- Organize and maintain legal databases and research libraries for easy retrieval of information.
- Collaborate with legal teams to identify research needs and deliver comprehensive support.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or a related legal field from an accredited university.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a legal researcher or in a similar role within a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Strong knowledge of Kuwaiti legal framework and court procedures.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in legal research databases and tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Law or Legal Studies.
