About the Role

Soamco is hiring a Product Designer / Creator based in Tunisia to design original models for a range of lifestyle and fashion accessories. This role focuses on developing creative concepts for bags, wallets, belts, cushions, table runners, trays, and other decorative or functional accessories. The ideal candidate will bring strong design sense, material knowledge, and the ability to translate trends into market-ready products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop original models for bags, small leather goods, belts, cushions, table runners, trays, and related accessories.
• Research trends, materials, and techniques relevant to fashion accessories and home décor.
• Create sketches, technical drawings, and prototypes to communicate design intent.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are feasible and meet quality standards.
• Participate in product range planning and seasonal collection development.
• Ensure designs align with brand identity, market demand, and cost constraints.
• Stay updated on regional and international trends in accessory design, leather goods, and lifestyle products.

Requirements

• Experience in product design, fashion accessories, leather goods, or textile/home décor design.
• Strong creative and artistic skills with the ability to develop original concepts.
• Proficiency in design tools and hand sketching.
• Good understanding of materials such as leather, fabric, wood, and mixed media.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple design projects.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Skills

• Background in fashion design, industrial design, or fine arts.
• Experience working with manufacturers or artisanal workshops.
• Knowledge of traditional Tunisian craftsmanship and contemporary design trends.
• Strong visual storytelling and trend forecasting abilities.
